1. How do I take Funtumia Elastica Powder? |

POWDER: Funtumia Elastica 30gm:
Mix the entire contents of the 30gm bottle thoroughly with an average size jar of honey, about 1lb (454gm).
Stir well until the powder is completely mixed, also stir the mixture each time you use it.
Store it at room temperature.
Adults: One 5ml spoonful of the mixture twice a day for 1 - 2 months continuously.
Children: under the age of 12: Half a 5ml teaspoon of the mixture twice a day until finished.
OR:
Take 1/4 of a 5ml teaspoon of powder twice a day with a
glass of water or fruit juice, tea or any beverage, an eighth
of a teaspoon for children. FOR BEST RESULTS, FINISH ENTIRE
30gm.
CAPSULES: These capsules are a convenient way to take the pure powder. They can be as effective as the powder, and can be taken by diabetics who have been unable to mix their Funtumia Elastica powder with honey or other sweeteners to mask the taste, and by busy people who are on the move. The capsules are available in containers of 60 or 120 capusles, lasting 30 or 60 days for adults and 60 or 120 days for children.
Dosage: Adults: 1 capsule twice a day (morning and evening) with water.
Children aged 12 and under: 1/2 capsule twice a day (morning and evening).
Funtumia Elastica for Children
The use of honey or jam is not recommended for very young children under 1 year old because of the high level of refined sugar and the risk of Botulism (bacteria in honey). A sugar-free/artifical sweetener-free jam (known in the in USA as 'jelly') such as St.Dalfour is suitable. This is available in most large supermarkets or you can find a larger range in health food shops. The same quantity of jam for the mixture - 454gm - is required, however the mixture will need to be stored in the fridge. This can then be mixed into your baby's cereal or yoghurt. It is also safe to take neat. The dosage for under 12's is half a teaspoon of the mixture twice a day.

2. What are the optimum times for taking Funtumia Elastica Powder?
|

The guide is really just twice a day,
at a decent interval of a good 6 hours - it does not have to be specifically at
mealtimes, although people usually find it easier not to forget to take the
dose if taken at these benchmarks in the day. If you have a sensitive stomach however, or suffer from stomach ulcers, it is best to take your powder after mealtimes.

3. Do I mix it in a certain foodstuff as and when required, or all in one go
when I first receive it? |
|

It depends on whether you want to take it mixed or neat. If you're taking it mixed in honey or something else, it is best to mix it all correctly at the start and store as recommended in 1. above. If you are taking it for the first time, and are not sure if you'll like the honey mixture, try a quarter of a teaspoon first in different foodstuffs until you find the way you like to take it best. |

4. Can it be taken with anything else? |
|

Some people mix it in brown rice syrup, others prefer it in jam or in peanut butter, yoghurt or sprinkled in cereal. Experiment if you like and find what tastes best for you.

5. How many pots will I need?
|
|
| |
This is entirely dependent on how well you personally respond to the
powder. Some people respond almost immediately and find that one month is almost too long. Others take up to a month
to see changes, when others don't start to see changes until the second month. Some people then like to continue on
with the powder for another month or two to ensure the best results, and some people don't want to be without it,
so despite perhaps not needing it, they continue to use it month after month. Others simply like to have it to hand in
their bathroom cabinets 'in case'.
Although most people will see some changes in the first 2 months, we do advise that if nothing has happened
within three months, we are sorry to say that we are almost certain that any further
use would not prove beneficial, and we would recommend not to continue persevering. |

6. Does it have permanent results or does it need to be repeated every year?
|
|

We have had many reports from our customers to say that they no longer need
to continue using the powder. Others have found that they have needed to use it again, someimes the following year, for
others it can be as long as 4 or 5 years before they find they need to take it again. |

7. I am in the senior age bracket, will Funtumia Elastica help me? |
|
| |
We have had people in their 80's respond beyond their expectations to the powder. There is no reason why you shouldn't too. |

8. How far in advance should I take Funtumia Elastica? |
|
| |
You can take it at any time of year. It depends on whether you want to witness it working for you or not.

9. Does it have any known side effects? |
|
| |
Some people have suffered adverse effects from taking Funtumia Elastica, but this is extremely rare. If you have any concerns, please contact us.
We do not recommend you take Funtumia Elastica if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you find you are experiencing any adverse symptoms from taking Funtumia Elastica please
let us know immediately and stop taking the powder. |

10. Are there any known drug interactions with Funtumia Elastica?
|

If you experience any signs that an adverse reaction is happening
to you when you take Funtumia Elastica you must stop immediately and consult
your healthcare specialist, and inform us so that we can advise others of possible interactions. If you are taking any medication which you believe may cause concern, please ask us for advice before taking Funtumia Elastica.

11. Who is Funtumia Elastica NOT suitable for?
|
|
| |
As a precaution, we recommend that
pregnant or breastfeeding women do not take Funtumia Elastica.
|

12. Is it really safe? What tests have been done on it? |
|
| |
Yamoa
has been microbiologically analysed to clinically confirm that it is free from
nasties such as Salmonella and E-Coli, Faecal Coliforms and Faecal
streptococci. The conclusion to the tests was: "The analyses undertaken
provided no evidence of the presence of pathogenic bacteria on any of the
samples examined". We commissioned the test as some people prefer to see the
proof..although we have every confidence it is safe. These tests were conducted
in 2001.
It has also been tested by the Centre for Scientific Research into Plant
Medicine (MINISTRY OF HEALTH), Ghana, by S. Osafaro-Mensah MSc. These tests
were performed between 1996 and 1998. Mr Osafaro's conclusions to the tests
were "The investigation and clinical trials conducted have shown that Yamoa is
safe for human use..and when the bark is dried it can be safely stored for up
to 6yrs before being ground for use".

13. What are the benefits to taking the capsules over the loose powder?
|
|

The main differences
are the ease of use, the ability to maintain an accurate dosage.

14. What are the benefits to taking the loose powder over the capsules?
|
|
| |
Some people find they respond better to the powder than the capsules. This may be the way in
which the two methods of delivery are assimilated in the digestive system, but we have had excellent results with the capsules as well as the powder.

15. Do you know what it is in Funtumia Elastica that is so effective, and if so
what are the test results? |

do now know, but we are not at liberty to tell you due to a confidentiality
agreement.

16. I am on a colon cleanse. Should I finish the cleanse before I start
Funtumia Elastica? |
|

Yes, you
should wait incase the Funtumia Elastica is evacuated from the body before it
has a chance to work. Your digestive system should also be given a few days to
recover and rest from the cleanse before Funtumia Elastica is started, so it
would be ideal to wait for about four days to a week after the cleanse is over
before starting Funtumia Elastica.

17. I am pregnant. Can I take Funtumia Elastica? |

you have had your baby and finished breastfeeding before you start to take
Funtumia Elastica. |

18. I have had absolutely no benefits from taking Funtumia Elastica. What are
your comments?

We are very sorry to hear when someone has not responded at all to Funtumia Elastica as it is so rare that no improvement at all is experienced. We cannot give a guarantee that it will work for everyone, but it does help many, many people. If this happens to you, we would be grateful if you could contact us and elaborate on your 'story' regarding the history of your condition, the method in which you took Funtumia Elastica, and any other relevant information, as it would really help us to understand who Funtumia Elastica possibly can and may not help in greater depth.
